If you know me, you know I love Halloween.
I have no shame and have worn all kinds of costumes.
Like a million years ago when my 6 foot 5 boyfriend dressed as the Frito Bandito and I was a bag of Fritos.
Or the year I attended an executive meeting in full Grim Reaper attire with my face painted in white and black skull makeup.
Our HR vice president said she had no idea who I was until I laughed.
And isn’t that what it’s all about? Laughter.
Having a little fun with it.
I’m not so sure our pets would agree. So my apologies to all the pets out there. But I love this video.
Which costume is your favorite?

A bag of Fritos, huh? π
My daughter is the queen of great costumes. Two years ago, she was a binder full of women (oh, yes she was!). Before that, Princess Lea (a sheet, a drapery cord, and bagels stuck on a headband). Paul Stanley from KISS. You name it, she’s done it.
The leprechaun is hysterical!! I love the dog who’s a martini, too. There is so much creativity in that video. Thanks for sharing it!

Your daughter & I would get along fabulously, Lori. π I should see if I can dig up that old photo of my boyfriend and I for a Throwback Thursday. But where it would be is a true mystery. π
I liked that martini one, too.
Cathy Miller says
P.S. I immediately thought of Notre Dame when I saw the leprechaun. π
Paula says
Every time I thought a costume couldn’t get cuter, another one topped it!
Doggie Lily would never allow such a thing. She is too fussy.
I’ve never been good at thinking up costumes, but when I was little my mom made really cool costumes for us. (Well, my brother didn’t like when he was about 7 and had to go as Jack Frost – white pants, white shirt, and a netted “skirt” with autumn leaves on it.) My favorite was Raggedy Ann. Why? Because I always wanted a Raggedy Ann doll, and for the sake of accuracy my mom bought one. I still have it.
Cathy Miller says
Great memories, Paula. π I can’t believe you can’t come up with ideas. You’re so creative. Heck, just tap into your entertainment archives. π
Anne Wayman says
Some of these costumes are a hoot… suspect my favorite is the cat as lobster… partly because the cat’s getting away! Is it my imagination or are the dogs more accepting of the costumes than the cats?
Cathy Miller says
I’m surprised the cat owners were able to get costumes on them at all. π
Mark Keating says
I don’t know if dogs are more accepting, or just easier to bribe π
Cathy Miller says
LOL! Kind of like humans. π
