Today, I released my free eBook –
How To Be a Business Writing MVP: Your Playbook to Better Writing
Calling it an eBook may be illusions of grandeur. As I mentioned in the introduction, it started out as a white paper and grew. An eBooklet might be a better designation.
Call it what you will, it is totally free and there is no sign-up required. Just download the pdf from my business web site.
Keeping it Simple and Looking the Part
My goal in business writing has always been to keep it simple. I wanted that theme incorporated into my business and that resulted in the birth of my business tagline –
Keep it simple, clear & uniquely yours
The next step was creating a logo that I felt represented my message.
I wanted to make some local contacts so I searched for an Idaho graphic artist to help with the design. I found Thrive Web Designs. Owner, Josh Olswanger, and Graphic Artist, Bonnie Olswanger, were fabulous.
- They were very responsive
- Offered several design options
- Adjusted their design based on my feedback
- And are very reasonably priced
Within days, I had my final logo design – I love it. What do you think?
In the Pink
I started the outline of my next eBook that chronicles my seven-time participation in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. The plan is to sell it to raise money so I can participate in my 8th event this year in San Diego.
- Don’t forget your job
- You need to nag me
- I’d like it done before the Walk
It has been a busy, but productive 2011.
Mom is doing well following her knee replacement surgery. She really is going to be taking care of me instead of the other way around.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you will share a comment or two.
